Generational Planning

Generational Planning, marriage, succession, health and education designed as one plan, is where a family keeps posterity, the condition families fail most. It is one of the four Family Building Disciplines, beside Jurisdiction Planning, Treasury Planning and Family Governance (Index of terms).

Property is inherited; the long horizon is taught. The manifesto argues the case in Law 4: the test for who receives a fortune is horizon rather than blood, ownership is separated from management by design, and formation teaches a member to read a balance sheet, hold a manager to account, sit on a council and plan in the horizon the founder planned in. Principles No. 3 will state the standard in full and is in preparation.
